Cicero Boy Lied to Police by Julien Novog-Desrayaud
Cicero, NY -- A 16-year-old boy has been charged with falsely reporting an incident. The Post Standard reports that he told police he was stabbed yesterday in his Cicero neighborhood at about 2:20 p.m. in the 8000 block of Crockett Drive. Police asked the boy what happened, but there were many holes in his story and they began to get to the bottom of it. The boy admitted that he cut himself with a razor blade.
Aftermath
Currently, police are not releasing the boy’s name. He was treated for a minor cut to his abdomen at University Hospital and released. The boy was given another chance to speak with investigators and repeated the story of being assaulted. He was charged with the misdemeanor and taken to the psychiatric emergency room at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center for observation.
