Flight Delays Nation Wide

By Kaci Lindhorst
The Federal Aviation Commission fixed a computer glitch that caused many flights to be delayed or cancelled this morning. The computer program that holds flight plans was shut down causing air traffic controllers to enter the plans in manually, which cause delays.
Problems for Airtran and Delta Airlines
Airtran Airways saw the most problems, having to cancel 22 flights around the country and delaying dozens more. Most of the problems were seen in Atlanta which is an international hub for Airtran and Delta airlines.
