Sign-ups begin for Syracuse school children to receive flu shots
by Jameson Fleming
Syracuse, New York -- Students attending Onondaga County schools will receive free H1N1 flu shots if their parents sign their children up.
Parents began signing their children up today when registration began at 9 AM Thursday. Parents can sign up two different ways. There is a link on each school's website or parents can call the Onondaga County Flu Hotline at 435-5752. Each district will have one flu clinic just for students, but some districts may be combined and share a clinic.
Students will be able to choose between receiving the nasal spray version of the vaccine or receiving the flu shot.
